What the Academy is
Dragonfly Academy is the teaching side of TJ Higgs's work. It exists for people who want to develop their own connection rather than only receive a reading — whether that means sitting in a circle every week, taking a single workshop on a subject that keeps calling you, or working towards mediumship you can offer to others.
Everything runs in small groups. TJ teaches much of it herself, alongside a handful of tutors she has trained and trusts.
How it's taught
Development circles run in blocks and monthly sessions, online and at the studio in Sawbridgeworth. Circles are where the steady work happens — the same group, week after week, building something that doesn't come from a single evening.
Workshops go deep on one subject in an evening or a day. They stand alone, so you can take one without committing to a block.
Tutors each hold their own circles at different levels, from complete beginners through to working mediums.
Where to start
If you have never sat in a circle, start with a beginner's circle or a single workshop. Neither assumes any experience.
If you already sit and want to go further, the development circles and the advanced monthly are built for that.

Through development circles, workshops, mentorship and residential experiences, students are encouraged to discover their own unique path while learning within a welcoming and inspiring community.
Workshops & Guest Tutors
Alongside the weekly circles, the Academy hosts one-day workshops and masterclasses, led by TJ and by carefully chosen guest tutors who bring their own specialisms to the community. TJ also teaches at the College of Psychic Studies in London.
Workshops are announced through the newsletter and on this page, places are limited and tend to go quickly.
