TJ talks about the signs people receive from those they have lost — robins, butterflies, feathers, coins, and the scent of someone's perfume arriving out of nowhere. She is clear about the difference between a sign and a coincidence: a feather in the woods is a feather, a feather in your locked car is something else.

She also talks about seeing people as a child and being called a liar for it, why she resisted becoming a medium until she was almost thirty, and what she says to the sceptic dragged along by their partner and sat in the front row.
